Welcome to SOARS Atlanta

A little about me: I was born in London of Irish parents and spent my childhood "across the pond." Before coming to the United States, I worked in a variety of settings, both as a community social worker and as frontline residential staff in group home settings. In the group home setting I was able to work with troubled boys as well as adults with mental illness. After moving to the United States, I worked as a job coach to help adults with mental illnesses find jobs and was a social worker for the elderly in Washington DC. After working in these myriad sectors, I became a therapist for adolescents and have been providing therapy to teens for over 20 years. I believe in developing strong rapport with all of my clients and constantly work toward this goal by bringing a warm, non-judgmental, and supportive approach to all sessions. In my free time I enjoy watching Atlanta United games, playing soccer myself, and riding my motorcycle. Thank you for visiting the SOARS Atlanta page and I look forward to working with you.
